Financial Services Administrator

As financial advisers we provide individuals and businesses with practical and relevant solutions to help them to meet their financial objectives. We provide full financial planning across all areas of private client work including investments, pensions, mortgages and protection.

We are now in our 20th year of trading and have a well-established client bank which provides a steady stream of renewal income. We currently carry out around 500 client reviews per annum. Our total funds under management are £110m+. We usually receive one new client enquiry per week.

We currently have one IFA (business owner), one mortgage adviser, two paraplanners, one administrator and a Practice Manager. We are looking to bring new team members on board to allow us to continue to provide a first class service to our existing clients and bring in new clients. Due to expansion of our team along with internal progression, we require a financial planning administrator to join us.

About you

To be considered you must have existing experience in the market working directly with advisers in a support role (2 yrs +). You will work closely with the Managing Director and Practice Manager to ensure first class client service at all times.

– excellent MS Office skills are important

About the Role

– preparing paperwork and valuations ahead of client meetings

– maintain internal databases

– dealing with new business applications

– dealing with client queries in a timely manner

– arranging client meetings and general diary management

– navigate and transact on financial provider’s websites

– general reception duties

– general mail duties

Our office is based in Johnstone town centre and this role will be office based. The hours of work would be Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm with a 1 hour lunch break.

We offer an attractive pension package; membership of our DiS scheme and any CII exams would be funded by us.

The salary on offer is dependent on experience but will be in the region of £25,000 – £28,000 p.a basic. An annual bonus is also payable, however, not guaranteed.

This is an ideal role for an experienced IFA administrator to join an expanding, close knit team.
